I made a workflow to link my smartsheet to a Jira project. However, my smartsheet is not updating.
I created a workflow to link my smartsheet to the primary Jira project our team uses. I did filter by assignee name as there are nearly 2000 issues in the project I am using. I know the filter is correct, however the smartsheet is not updating. Does it typically take more than a day for the smartsheet to update after a workflow is created?

The first thing I would do is check the Workflow History to see if there are any errors. You should be able to check the Run Date and Last Run of a specific instance, see: Finding and Fixing Workflow Errors
If this hasn't helped, I would suggest contacting Smartsheet Support with full screen captures of each step of the Jira Workflow you set up, along with the screen capture of the sheet in Smartsheet and it's Activity Log. They'll be able to look into this with you in a private channel where you can share these details.
