Unlock a single cell in a locked row
Hello all!
I have a sheet with locked rows, so that only I can edit them. However, I need my team to be able to edit one column on that sheet (so one cell per row). Is there a way to change the lock settings to allow this?
Thanks!!

Try locking the columns instead or the rows.

@Paul Newcome So, the rows are being moved from a sheet where my team can edit them. Once they are marked as complete, the rows are moved to the second, locked sheet via automation. I used the 'lock a row' when moved to another sheet, but there is no 'lock a column' option. In this case, what would you suggest?

You would just manually lock all of the columns except for the one that needs to be edited.

Did this ever get a good answer, reading the reponses it looks like it did not.
I have the same problem if we lock a row but then unlock a column the intersection needs to be unlocked.
example row 10 is locked, column C is unlocked. At the intersection of C10 I need it to be unlocked, how can i achieve this
Thanks

@Alan_N There is currently no way to do this. Either the entire row is locked or the entire column is locked. You can't have an unlocked cell in the middle of either.
