Unlock a single cell in a locked row

Hello all!

I have a sheet with locked rows, so that only I can edit them. However, I need my team to be able to edit one column on that sheet (so one cell per row). Is there a way to change the lock settings to allow this?

Thanks!!

Try locking the columns instead or the rows.

  • @Paul Newcome So, the rows are being moved from a sheet where my team can edit them. Once they are marked as complete, the rows are moved to the second, locked sheet via automation. I used the 'lock a row' when moved to another sheet, but there is no 'lock a column' option. In this case, what would you suggest?

You would just manually lock all of the columns except for the one that needs to be edited.
