default font color changed
Yesterday I saved an existing sheet as new to use as a sandbox to test some development changes. In this sandbox sheet, font color for existing date from the original sheet is black. Font color for new data entered into the sandbox sheet is displaying as green. I don't have any conditional formatting rules created on either sheet. How can I change new data font color back to black?

Did you save the copy within the same workspace as the original? The default text color (also default Gantt styling) is driven by the Workspace settings so if it was saved to a different workspace, the copy will inherit those color settings.

Thanks for the quick response Sarah. Neither sheet is in a workspace. Both are just stand alone sheets.

It sounds like perhaps the Column has formatting applied, then the black cells have individual formatting applied - this would mean new entries would take on the Column formatting. Try clicking the Column Name then changing all the text to Black.
Cheers,
Genevieve
