I am having issues with Document Creator displaying multi-line items into the document
I have created a fillable pdf with some of the items being multi-line items, see image 222,. The column in smartsheets allow for wrap text however, when the document generates, it either does not display the items in the field or it rotates the text 90deg. and positions who knows where, see image 2223.
What am I doing wrong?
The result should show as in image 22224 when generating.

Hi @KempenUSA
Thank you for clarifying that this PDF is landscape! I haven't personally tested with landscape before but you could be correct, this may have something to do with how the mapping is appearing. If you haven't already, please do reach out to Support so they can identify the root cause with you.
Thanks,
Genevieve

When you're in Adobe editing the form fields on the PDF, when you go to Text Field Properties on the General tab at the bottom it has Orientation. Is that possibly set to 90 degrees? It should be default to 0 degrees unless it was changed somehow.

@Genevieve P. Hi Genevieve, I hope you can help me with this issue:

Mike TV, unfortunately that did not resolve the problem.

Hi @KempenUSA
I agree with @Mike TV
Smartsheet does not have a rotated formatting like this, so it's being applied to your text in the document you have set up. I would check the settings of your field in the PDF.
If this still hasn't helped, please reach out to Support with the fillable PDF file you're using and full screen captures of your Mapping page as well as the output result. They'll be able to troubleshoot with you in a private channel where you can share more information.
Cheers,
Genevieve

@Genevieve P. thanks for the response, but I have already looked at what @Mike TV recommended and it is not related to the 90 degrees orientation. I have tried every possible angle and also different pdf creators with the same result.
I believe the problem is within Smartsheet Document Builder and its compatibility with "landscape" vs "portrait" layout forms.
It works 100% on "Portrait" but not on the other.

Hi @KempenUSA
I just wanted to follow-up and let you know that the Support team was able to identify the root cause of this behaviour and apply a fix; you should be able to generate your documents with text appearing in the correct formatting, now.
Cheers!
Genevieve
