Problem with text format in smartshet exports into excel



I have an issue when I export my smartsheet sheet into Excel using Data Shuttle.

The excel that is generated has all the columns as text type , even the ones that only have numbers on it and I will like to know in which way I could have the columns with only text in smarsheet sheet as text format in the generated excel.

I saw that the excel export is regenerated every time so I can't create a template and set in there the desired format (or I don't know how to do it).

    At this time there isn't a way to pre-set the column type in Excel that the data will be exported as using Data Shuttle. Since a new file is created each time, you'll need to adjust the column type in the Excel document after the export has occurred.
