Report filtering when in Card View

I have a Kanban setup using a report pulled from 130 sheets. The report is filtered to only show assignments for 4 people. All of the additional people are filtered out when viewed in grid view but when viewed in card view, there are columns for 2 additional people that should have been filtered out.

Any thoughts why this might be happening?

    I am pulling content from sheets in a couple different workspaces

    and filtering so the report only shows the graphic designers. Assigned To has 5 people selected. Various other filters remove completed work and set the time range of work that I want to show.

    This should limit what I see in my card view to the 5 people that I have selected in the filter. Instead, I have 7 columns that show up when I 'View by Assigned To'.

    But if I go to grid view, I only see the 5 that I selected.

    Strangely enough... I went back to the file a couple days later and the extra 'Assigned To' columns have disappeared.
