Completing a Checkbox in one sheet completes checkbox in another sheet

I am very, very new to Smartsheet. I am trying to link our Onboarding Master Sheet to the Supervisor sheet. I would like when the Supervisor completes a task (marking the checkbox) that it will automatically complete the checkbox in the Master Sheet. Is this possible and how do I accomplish this. Like I said before I am a very new user so if someone can explain this to me (detailed) that would be very helpful. Thank you.

Can you please share the sheet columns of both the sheets?

My suggestion would be to create a row report and have it filtered to show only the supervisor's tasks.
