When creating a report, would love to be able to apply a synonym to a column, similar to having the option to apply a label to a form field.
This would offer great flexibility for report writers and consumers by providing the ability to support the custom terminology. For example, the 'Name' field in a Demand Management sheet could be called 'Project Name' in one report and 'Initiative Name' in another report to conform with specific requirements of a report user or department.
You can rename columns in a report, does that help Or if you were thinking of using aliases in some different way?
Hi @Sameer Karkhanis, that isn't my understanding so if there is a way I'd welcome your insight.
I know it's possible to rename the primary column of the report but not other columns - as the option is greyed-out. The screenshot below shows I am unable to rename the 'Program/Project Sponsor' column but I am able to rename the 'Project' column.

This would be super useful, s as the audiences of some Reports can often differ between them, and the meanings of columns can depend on the audience.
