Approver From a Form

Hi All,

I'm new to Smartsheet, so apologies if this has already been asked and answered. I'm creating a form, in which many different users will be filling out. They will fill out their Supervisor's name, and email address. I would love to find a way for the form to be sent to the manager for "Approval" and submission.

I'm looking in Automation Template, but I will have no knowledge ahead of time who manager will be that is approving their form.

Any ideas on how to go about this?

I'm glad to hear you figured this out! It sounds like you figured out how to send an alert to a contact in a contact column, using the email address that the form user filled out as the column to send the alert to. Well-done!
