Is there a way to automate an email to a user who had his access to a sheet denied?

I know Smartsheet notifies users when they get access to a sheet, but I did not find anything about notifying them that their request was denied.

I want to let them know their access was denied so they will stop requesting it.

There is no way to automatically send a notification that access has been denied. You would need to reach out to them yourself.
