DocUsign and Proposal PDF's

My company would like to use DocuSign within our process' to get a multitude of different documents signed. I know that you can generate a document from the fields in your data and i know you can also upload a template.
I want to use a proposal received from a vendor (so i have to use their document) and somehow submit that document through automation and docusign process. I understand that, that is not possible at this time but i think that would be a great enhancement.
