Email Notifications not to show when logic is not applicable?

Is there a way to have email notification items to not show when logic is not applicable?

Example:

1st Question (Drop down): # of People (Depending on the selection it will open the following questions based off logic) in this case they select 2.

2nd Question (text box): Provide Name 1 / 3rd Question: Provide Name 2 / 4th Question: Provide Name 3 / 5th Question: Provide Name 4

If they select 2 people, I don't want all 4 Provide Name place holders to appear in the email notification and taking up blank space.

Anyway around this?

I am using Smartsheet Workflow template. Trigger: hen rows are added, Actions: Alert Someone.

Message includes: Links to sheet and specific fields.

Then I selected all fields that may apply to the form. I have also tried all fields and same issue.

What other option do I have?

You would have to add a so-called helper column with a formula to collect all that is not empty and then reference it as the new placeholder.

Make sense?
