Status on one sheet changes and then updates status on another sheet

Can you connect 2 sheets so that if I mark someone as complete on one sheet, it then will mark the same person on a different sheet as complete too?

I have multiple sheets with the same people on them but they are checking something different and I do not want to combine it all into 1. Right now I just have to manually update all 3 sheets I have manually so wanted to see if this can be automated instead

@arose I think cell linking along with some automation will streamline your process. Are you able to make a copy of the three sheets, scrub the data, then share with me? It would be easier for me to built it into a copy of your sheets then to try to explain all the steps to complete the process. You could then use the copied sheets with the built in process as a go-by to recreate it in your sheets.

To add.

You could use cross-sheet formulas combined with either a VLOOKUP or INDEX/MATCH structure to connect the sheets, and when you update the source sheet, it will reflect on the destination sheet.
