Vlookup with contacts
I'm probably missing something simple here but I can't see it. I'm using Vlookup to get information for contacts from one sheet to an other. Some of the names are getting a #nomatch error, and I have one returning the wrong value. Here are the sheets. I'm removing extra rows to keep it simple. Here is the formula =VLOOKUP(Assignee@row, {Employee Names Range 4}, 2
This is the source sheet. The range is the entire Employee column and the the entire resources type column.
as you can see it's working for me
But not for Greg
Or Tamrat
No formula's used in any of these rows other then the one above. I just can't seem to find what I'm missing. Anyone have any ideas?

Make sure that your column types are identical between the lookup columns and the destination column. Sometimes contact columns are finicky in lookups.

Additionally,
- Make sure your range (lookup_table) includes all rows
- You can force the vlookup to search for exact match by adding FALSE as the last parameter

Adding FALSE fixed it. I knew it was going to be something simple. Thank you Both for answering.
