Can I automate emailing attachments?

I have an approval automation set up but it does not send the actual attachments when "alerting someone." Is it possible to create an automation that emails the files that have been added to rows?

If not, has anyone found a workaround? I've seen others post the same problem, but I haven't found a solution yet.

@Alicia Ringo Are you looking for actual attachment in the email? Otherwise, in the Alert or Approval Request, you have to customize the email message and choose the "An attachment" field. It won't actually attach it to the email, but will include a link to the attachment in Smartsheet.

I initially was using the approval automation preset but switched it to the alert someone preset and it's working!
