Hello,
We have a source data sheet that is populated via form submission. We'd like to add further sheets, pulling specific, but different, data from the source sheet for individual users. Is there any way that links could be generated dynamically based on the data submission from the original form? Currently, we're having to do this manually and, as the source data is becoming more and more valuable, more and more users want to pull data from it and it's becoming too labour intensive to populate the links to various different sheets. Could this be done with some form of conditional formatting?
I'm guessing this isn't a current feature (I can't find a way) but wondered if it could be at all possible for future upgrades?
Thanks.
If you have a unique identifier on your row, you could use an INDEX(MATCH formula to automatically bring in information from one sheet to another as new rows are populated.
There's a post in Best Practices that explains how to build this formula step by step: INDEX and MATCH across two sheets: a detailed explanation
Here's a Help Article with more options: Formula combinations for cross sheet references
Cheers,
Genevieve
