Issue with highlight yellow color on weekly automation

Hi Team,

We have received ownership of a Smartsheet with automated notifications. The trigger used on the sheet is "When rows are added or changed", with run workflow condition set to "Weekly". I have two questions regarding this. 

1. How to check which day of the week, this workflow is triggered. At the moment these notifications are being sent on Friday every week. 

2. We observed that the yellow highlight on the updated columns is not being applied correctly. Example on 13th July we updated the Opening date column for which notification has been sent on 15th July. But this column Opening date was not applied with yellow color.

This from @Genevieve P. - Weekly workflows will evaluate changes to the sheet between the first Friday at 12:00 AM and the following Thursday until 11:59 PM. Messages will be delivered between 12:00 AM and 4:00 AM on the second Friday.

Highlight Cell.

In conditional formatting where highlight rules are developed there is no way to highlight a cell if a date replaces a date. You could create a rule that applies a highlight if the date is in the next X days though, would that work? - See attached snip where I have selected the ship date column from our sheet.

Thank you for the information. However this answers the question partially.

The issue is not with HighLight changes or Conditional formatting on the sheet, but rather its with automation. In the weekly automation that this set to trigger on "When rows are added or deleted", this date field change was not highlighted on the automation email. When I test this on a copy sheet, it works perfectly fine.
