LINKED CELL FORMULA

I have a template sheet which is used for many other sheets but my managers keeps moving the goalposts for part of the reporting meaning i have to update a formula on the template then copy and past into the other 18 sheets currently in use.

Today i set up a new sheet i thought i would try linking the formula cell to the template so if managers ask for a change again once i update the template then the new sheet would automatically update which worked :-) The problem then was i am unable to convert the formula to a column formula meaning my shortcut doesn't really work.

Is there a way to link the cell in each sheet to the template so when i update that formula all other sheets have same formula and make it a column formula?

Unfortunately, it's not possible now, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit this as a Product Feedback or Idea (If it hasn't been added already) when you have a moment.

Here's a possible workaround or workarounds

• Do you have access to the Premium App, Control Center?
• Also, there might be another workaround. Can you elaborate on the solution?

Is that an option?

I looks like it might work if i link the first cell then drag the formula down, but not ideal as you have to have idea how far to drag the formula down.

I will submit it as feedback idea
