We should have the option to not send notification emails when someone is added to a Control Center Provisioned WorkApp project. This option is available almost everywhere else in Smartsheet, it should also be possible with SCC Provisioned WorkApp Projects. We had to have our IT team block the WorkApps emails all together.
Agreed - we should be able to modify notifications from a Control Center program (ie, every time a change is made).
@hdierkers I believe they made this update, there is an option in control center now. You can choose whether or not to send notification emails, and there is a checkbox when you are updating the WorkApp to send the email or not.
@Genevieve P. you could probably remove this post.
@Samuel Mueller - I do not see this in the Control Center, and this article was linked to me from Smartsheet IT this morning (they also confirmed this is currently not a capability of the system).
Do you know how to turn off the notifications? I see under WorkApps settings within the blueprint an option for notification emails ("Send notification emails to people in WorkApp roles when projects are manually or automatically provisioned"), but we have that unchecked, and notifications are being sent to our primary leads every time a change is made to the blueprint (ie, updating a file name or templates being used).
@hdierkers You know I have started to see the emails going to the primary leads when a change is made. I think that is new. Might need a new Idea Request submitted to cover that. The checkbox in control center prevents emails from going out project owners when a new project is provisioned, which is what this post relates too.
I do think the new email is "only" going to primary leads though.
@Samuel Mueller - Yes! I think you're right.. I will put in a new post!
@hdierkers I couldn't find your post if you created one, so I did
