Export Report Using Data Shuttle
I'm trying to setup an export of a report using Data Shuttle in Smartsheet (to export it to Google Sheets so that I can combine it with another of my reports) and when I type in the name of the report in Data Shuttle it finds the report but won't let me select it. If I click through the folders for the report I can't find any reports listed. Is there a limitation on using Data Shuttle to export a report? I want to have only certain columns pull into a sheet (I have too many columns and rows to do a link to a cell and there is no way for me to do a DataMesh as I would have to essentially recreate the sheet I'm pulling from). If there's another way to be able to refer to a report that would work too (but I'm not seeing that as a possibility from my searches so far).

Hi @Sarah123
Currently Data Shuttle workflows can only be built with Sheets (not Reports), as you've found.
You can select specific columns from the sheet in the Mapping tab of the Workflow, eliminating any unnecessary columns. You can also set Filters in the workflow to mimic any filters you had on the Report as well. See: Set filters to control which rows are offloaded

Can you link to Smartsheet? e.g. the source is a sheet and the target is also a sheet?

Hi @Cristian
You can use an offload workflow to offload data from one sheet into a CSV file that attaches to a different Smartsheet sheet, then use a separate upload workflow to upload data from that new CSV file into your second sheet.
Depending on what you're looking to do, you may want to check out DataMesh instead, see: DataMesh

@Genevieve P. is there any way to setup an automated export of a report instead of manually going into the report to export?

Hi @Sarah123
You can set up a recurring email that exports a Report into an Excel file or PDF, see here!

@mmccar29 I'm not sure if you also have access to the DataMesh application, but you can use DataMesh to turn your Report into a Sheet, and then use DataShuttle from the Sheet.
