Using Column Type "Symbols"

Hello, I am using Smartsheets for performance assessment using the symbol column-type >>star ratings. The options are available as a drop-down list with options to select the choices. Looking for a workaround that generates all five starts and the user can select his choice rather than using a drop-down list. Regards

Hi @MKL,

I don't think you can change the way a dropdown option is selected via the grid.

You can however change the way a dropdown option is selected when using a form. Not sure if you're capturing your star ratings via form or not. If so, in the Form settings here is where you can adjust the way the form displays the star options.
