Update request to assigned team member

Is there a way to automate who the update request goes to. Currently every time I click update request I have to fill in the name which is time consuming especially if I have different team members assigned to different tasks. I saw this question was answered as no in 2019. I'm hoping this has been added? Thank you.

Yes, you could add specific conditions or a so-called helper column with a checkbox that would trigger the Update Request to send.

Thanks Andrée for response. That does work in a way but also not ideal. We have a lot of open items and I just need specific ones updated at times so it's not overwhelming. Is there a way to automate assignment of click type requests.

Hi Andrée, I tested it and that works really well. I would like to simplify the intake on the other end. Can I instead of the standard update request that has too many items trigger a form request to the assigned person with just a few items to update?

You can modify what columns should be included and have multiple Workflows with different columns included.
