How to limit what a person see's on a dashboard to their info only

Hi all,

I'm using smartsheets to track work information for multiple people on my team. As some of the info is personal, I needed to create a way that allowed each person the ability to view their information, and no-one else's. I ended up creating a report and dashboard for each individual, filtering the report to only show their info.

This took a verrry long time, and proved impractical when, at later dates, new columns needed to be added to reports, or different groupings applied, as I had to go into each and every report to make the change.

Is there a way to set up a single report/dashboard, that, when accessed by an individual, only shows their info?

I recommend using the Premium App, Dynamic View, or WorkApps.

Would any of those options work/help?

Hi Andree,

Thank you for your answer - unfortunately purchasing any of these are not possible. I would need to do it the old fashioned way.

If you have Enterprise WorkApps is included for licensed users.

Would that work?

Not everyone on my team has an enterprise license, and from my understanding, anything published through Workapps can only be accessed by licensed users. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
