Why is % complete showing as 10,000% instead of 100?

I have a basic project sheet and the % complete is showing as 10,000% instead of 100%

I have several other sheets where this is working correctly (ie I enter 100 and it stays as 100%, but in this one sheet when I put in 100, it defaults to 10,000%.

I understand the basic math for how this equates but don't understand why SS is operating differently in this sheet? I've seen old posts about a bug in Internet Explorer, but this appears to e operating this way in Edge and Chrome.

Any ideas?

Thank you!

    Hi @Kelly Pratt,

Seems there are 2 known ways for this to happen.

1.) Enter the number for the % Complete, but click delete before tabbing or clicking enter. This removes the % sign, and adds 2 trailing zeros when you do tab or click enter.

2.) Enter the number into a cell, and then apply the % format to the cell/column.

Seems as if it's not browser specific.

If these are not causing your issue, then you need to have a call with Smartsheet Support.

    All the best,
