Permanent Sorting Column Sheets

Please allow sorting to be permanent on a sheet.

My Issue

We log our trucking miles and have a sheet with current and previous miles columns along with other information. Those two columns pull from another sheet filled out from submitted forms. Our main sheet will reference the most recent miles submitted and the previous miles submitted. It works as long as you manually sort the form sheet. The only way to have a permanent sort is from a report, but we can't reference it to a sheet.

Is there a better way to do this?

I have submitted a product feedback form, but have seen several people being requested to do the same for 4 years.

Did you browse the linked topic below? If someone has already submitted, then please vote it up. If no one has submitted the idea, then go ahead and submit it there yourself so that others can vote on it.

Is there a reason the report won't work? I'm not sure I understand what you mean when you say "we can't reference it to a sheet".
