Conditional formatting to highlight attachments on a row

As the attachment (paperclip) column is on the far left of the sheet and can't be repositioned, it's not always clear when an attachment has already been added to a row (as I often don't scroll far left to check, especially in sheets with multiple columns).

Is there an easy way to use conditional formatting to identify and colour code rows with an attachment?

Unfortunately, it's not possible now, but it's an excellent idea!

Here's a possible workaround or workarounds

• Workflow combined with the change a cell action and add a so-called helper column (can be hidden) like a checkbox column and have it check that box and then reference it in a conditional formatting rule.

Of course, a workflow using attachments added or changed then running off a silent field will work!!
