Linking numerous cells from one sheet to another (GC Bids)
I have a source sheet that has 18 parent rows. There are many child rows per parent. I have helper columns to analyze the data in the source sheet. I have created SUM(CHILDREN()) on each parent row. I now need another sheet to perform calcs on each of the parent rows, however, this second sheet (destination sheet) does not contain ALL of the same columns as the source sheet.
Is there an easy way to link (in destination sheet) to the columns I need on each parent row (from source sheet) other than creating an individual link for each parent row for each column required. I.e., can I create link for one parent row and then drag to fill the remaining parent rows in the destination sheet.
Making any sense?

If you highlight multiple cells and then right click and select Link From Another Sheet (the same way you would for a single cell), you can link multiple cells at once so long as the group of cells is the same size and shape.

@Paul Newcome I had 18 rows with numerous columns. I decided to use a 'helper' column and INDEX MATCH. Worked beautifully.
