I would like to be able to customize the Card View to different layouts, instead of just columns or swim lanes.
I'm curious, what other layouts did you have in mind?
I could use horizontal rows instead of vertical columns.
I would like to replicate the layout of our workshop bays.
8 7 6 5 WB
4 3 2 1 PL
I would like to move the cards between each bay and place each Resource(s) with the cards
Please add swim lane feature to card view.
Please implement horizontal swim lanes in card view. Thanks.
I love the card view to be able to work my items needed for each project I am managing however I would like to see the card view in grid form. I have some projects that are moving faster than others. I need to be able to have them in a grid to keep up with the pace of each project.
Something similar to the attached sc
reen shot.
OOOh! Yes please!
Hi @Roxie1155 -- I'm curious if by 'grid' you mean that you'd want the capability to add row and column titles like in my screen capture.
( I don't work for Smartsheet. I've just been figuring out how the card view can help me with my use cases. I saw your post and would like to know more.)
Thanks,
Marc
Yes with the rows and columns. Currently Smartsheet card view can do columns but not rows.
Please implement swimlanes for card view, so we can group in horizontal rows as well as the existing vertical columns.
Swimlanes make the card view 10x more useful by grouping cards in two dimensions.
For example
Here's an example from Mark Kraska
There are no current workarounds in Smartsheet.
This is a very important feature to have! We need horizontal swimlanes!
This is exactly what is needed! Thanks!
My most common card view in a project report sheet is filtered into 3 swim lanes, high medium and low. Most all computer monitors now days are landscape and it would be nice to rotate everything 90 degrees instead of constantly scrolling up and down to show all the cards.
It would be great to have swim lanes for the card view. It will give another dimension of card organization and management.
i'd like this too!
