Form link doesn't work in consistantly

I send our employees a link to a form they need to complete using an automated workflow. When they receive it in our company outlook account there is a hyperlink they can click on to access the form easily (screen shot attached). When they open the email in a different email account like hotmail and using the outlook web app the link is not hyperlinked (screen shot attached). Does anyone know why this happens and if there is a solution?

@Janette Hotmail is probably using text format for email, while Outlook messages will be html based. That is probably the issue but I don't know if there is a solution ...

I'm having the same issue. The placeholder is in the automated email body and is just a URL. The link is clickable in Gmail, but not Outlook. Our university uses Outlook exclusively - hope there is a recommendation/solution without "linking to the sheet and specific fields" as that will only confuse the recipients.
