Report Creation
Greetings,
I am creating a report to check the incoming date of certain items for multiple projects.
While creating it, only the parent row is getting imported to the report. Is it possible to incorporate the children rows as well ?
The structure of my rows in the original sheets are as follows: Shipment of X for a particular project is the parent row. Under X, is Item A, Item B etc each of which arrive on a certain date.

What was the solution to this question? I'm curious to do the same thing as well (show parent and child rows in a report). Thanks

We do this a lot. Maybe I'm missing something but we ARE able, in a Report, to show both parent and children. Currently, Reports do not show the indentions as a Grid object but the children do show up if we choose to have them. We make it a practice to always BOLD the parent row. This way; especially in a report, you can easily identify the children under the parent.
In addition, this is a simple formula we use in a hidden/helper column to ensure the parent row is bolded every time. We just ensure every line of the grid object has this formula copied down throughout the sheet. We name the column Bold Parent and this is the formula we use to make sure any parent items is automatically bolded.
=IF(COUNT(CHILDREN([Task Description]@row)) > 0, 1)
In this case, Task Description is the primary column.
