I have created a report, but noticed not all the columns I select for the report are available to be grouped by. I have this one column that I would like to be able to group by but it's not available to select. Can you tell me if there are some constraints around the types of fields that can be grouped by?
BTW, I love this new feature in Smartsheets!!

Based on the article on grouping it looks like you can group by up to three categories.
If an item is not appearing, I would check to see if it is being grouped already by a different status that would prevent it from being grouped again. Play around with the order in which things are grouped or maybe start it at the top level? '
I had that same problem today @Kathy Thurman I was trying to group by a dropdown list. My problem was that I allowed multiple selections in the drop down list - when I change the property to a single item; the column appeared.
I came here with the same problem. It seems the multiple choice dropdown is the culprit for my report also. Which is annoying as I still want to group my data by this column, but I cannot change the data to only allow one choice in the dropdown.
