Sending email to create a row in Smartsheet

I am looking for a way in Smartsheet, wherein employees will create an email and send to a specific email address and once sent it will automatically create a row in Smartsheet(not using add in).

Is there a set up in the email address that I can do to connect it to Smartsheet sheet just like a ticketing system?

Is this possible?

    Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment.

    Here's a possible workaround or workarounds

    • Use a 3rd-party service like Zapier or similar.
