Data Shuttle - trigger workflows with new row in sheet

Evening all. Problem that I have is that I need a dynamic dropdown working between two sheets (i.e. values in column X in sheet 1 should be dropdown options in column Y in sheet 2).

I've figured out how to do a workaround using Data Shuttle (offload workflow from sheet 1 to a Smartsheet attachment CSV, update dropdown in sheet 2 using an upload workflow).

The one thing I can't figure out is how to trigger the Data Shuttle workflows from the Workflows option in sheet 1.

Here's what I'm trying to do:

Starting state
- sheet 1 - column x: apples, pears, bananas
- sheet 2 - column y dropdown: apples, pears, bananas

user adds new row "grapes" to sheet 1 - column x
trigger offload workflow
trigger upload workflow

Ending state
- sheet 1 - column x: apples, pears, bananas, grapes
- sheet 2 - column y dropdown: apples, pears, bananas, grapes

You cannot trigger a Data Shuttle workflow from Smartsheet workflows, you can set you offload workflow to run on a set schedule, I believe every 15min is the smallest you can do

Urgh. You know of any other way to get a dynamic dropdown to work in Smartsheet?
