Hi,
How can I allocate the resources in single task when I have multiple task owners or multiple Task managers?
Best Regards
Saqib
Hi Saqib,
To use Resource Allocation for multiple people for one task you'd need to have the task on multiple rows.
Would that work?
Have a fantastic week!

We need this functionality - I have tasks in my plan that involve more than one resource, for instance, a meeting. If I have a kickoff meeting, I want to show who has to take time to attend that meeting. My plan is already 900+ lines, I would be challenged to repeat a task 5-6 times just to account for the time everyone takes to do that task.
I would like Smartsheet to adjust duration (not work) when I add a second or third resource to the one task. This would save so much time.
I understand if I add more than one resource to a task, it negates tracking time at all.
Thank you
I agree with Mary, this would be a valuable feature and something that most other scheduling tools offer (e.g. MS Project). It would be necessary however to allow for the effort (i.e. hours) of each stakeholder to be adjustable. The sum total could then be shown in the main schedule view.
Hello, I'm working through the writing formulas optional activity and in the 'Nested IF function - Progress Column' task it directs you to put in the following formula '=IF([% Complete]@row = 0, “Empty”)'. However, when I put this formula into the spreadsheet, '04a_Marketing Request Tracker - Formulas', I get an…
I have an automation that has a condition where I am looking at the column "LEA Interco Supporting Site(s)" and trying to find columns that have the value "Fort Loramie" in them. This works well when "Fort Loramie" is the first item listed in the cell, but it doesn't work when "Fort Loramie" is the second or third value in…
Have any of you created a Smartsheet that would show the savings for a project by the month? In other words, if I saved $1200 annually and the project ended in say March, then the savings would go $120 per month, Mar 2025-Feb 2026. I have done it on Excel sheets manually, but I think there should be a way to do it with…
