Creating a dropdown for a particular cell
Hi I have a Smartsheet that has test cases and tasks. Once the test case is complete the status needs to be updated.
I have a row for Status Result based on each test case and I would like to be able to add dropdown list of values for the tess results.
I found this workaround but I am unable to create multiple links:
I followed the instructions and created a new sheet with the dropdown values but if I add "Double Click to select" it does open the multiple sheets
Does this workaround still makes sense or is there another way I can do this to accomplish what I need.

When looking at your sheet, my first impression is to restructure or translate the columns and rows. Each row would be a different test case and each question would be a column with column type drop down list. Hope this helps.

The team would prefer the data as is noted above which is why I am trying to just create a Dropdown for the cell.

Just reaching out to see if this workaround is still possible. As I followed the instructions but can't seem to link the sheets as you have.

Yes, I believe so... I haven't actually used this method in a while, but it should be possible. You need to link to the cell...

Here's a short video highlighting it. You'll notice that there is a delay before the content is displayed. Refresh your sheet to see the data.
