Control Center error 4000 failure to add project data to summary sheet from metadata sheet
Hi,
I have a project system that has been in place for a couple of years. Today I noticed my summary sheet was not populating with new projects. The name of the project is added to the summary sheet, the project is provisioning, but none of the data is being passed to the summary sheet. If I try "Update Reporting" or I try to update the blueprint I get a contact smartsheet for help error (4000)
Any suggestions?

How many rows/columns are in your summary sheet and how many of those are cell references?
-
128 rows
54 columns, 51 are profile data
I have checked for no restricted dropdowns, restricted to date, Column formulas

Hi,
I hope you're well and safe!
You're not close to the limits, so that I would check the Activity Log for clues.
If that doesn't help, and if you haven’t already, I recommend submitting a support ticket through the new Smartsheet Support Portal.
I hope that helps!
Be safe, and have a fantastic week!
Best,

I have run into this once or twice before. I wasn't close to the limits, but the Summary sheet wasn't getting fully populated or populated at all in some cases. I ended up having to rebuild the summary sheet from scratch and updating the blueprint to look at the new one.
My issue came up in testing though, so I didn't have a few years worth of projects linked in. I would suggest reaching out to Support (link at the top of this page) to see if they are able to help.

I did put in a support ticket and they confirmed there was an error and that it was surrounding a piece of profile data attempting to link in a summary sheet column of a different data type. A previous attempt at resolving a formula issue had been done in a column formula but later resolved in the Metadata. The column formula was not removed and...
well you know the rest of the story. Mystery solved. Thanks for your feedback
