Anyone on my team can tell you I am all about music and I can modify any song to fit what is happening in our Solutioning world:
Another One Bites the Dust when we complete another Smartsheet Solution
Another Brick in the Wall when we hit a road block with something
Most generally any 80's music will do for me. I love my 80's on 8.

Man, it's hard to pick a song that's not already showcased here. There are SO MANY good motivational songs!
Hard agree with axwestlake, Salèha El D., Jaime Ciabattoni, Corey Schwartz, Tamara Purchase, Pam Ferguson... and more!
I think the song I'm going to highlight today is Feeling Good - Michael Buble. Nina Simone is of course amazing, but the instruments in Michael's version adds such a good OOMPH!

I love all these answers and am going to have to check them all out! In full transparency, I feel quite old telling everyone that my Go-To since 1982 is CELEBRATION by Kool & the Gang. I can't NOT wiggle when it comes on.

I love listening to Can't Stop the Feeling by Justin Timberlake -- really does get me in the zone and makes me happy.....It's the magic (kind of like Smartsheet)!!!! Try it out......

We have got an amazing playlist that can be created for the community happening here in this thread! What a great idea and a way to help everyone find motivation when we really need it! And everyone is going to have a different style of motivation and that's what's so cool to see in the thread.
I have loved music for as long as I can remember and how each beat, temp, fill, guitar riff, and lyrics speak to you in that moment~ But I have to agree with others that depending on the mood or the day this could call for you to reach into your motivational tool belt!
1) Tantric's version "The Chain" by Fleetwood Mac
2) Kongos - "Come with me Now"
3) Cake - "The Distance"
4) Third Eye Blind - "Semi-Charmed Life"
5) Michael Jackson or any version of - "Smooth Criminal"

When I really need a pick me up, I listen to "Wig in a Box" from the Hedwig and the Angry Inch soundtrack. I feel like it's a bit of a strange choice, but it always does the trick for me!

Hi SmartSheet Community,
*slowly adds all songs from this discussion thread :)*
When I need to feel motivated I listen to "Paradise" by Coldplay. The song is very melodic and storytelling. Although "Paradise" starts off with a slower tempo, it represents the feeling of pulling through hardship, or finding the light in a dark place, which sometimes we may need to push forward in difficult situations.
I can't wait to listen to all these songs!
Thanks SS Community! :)

I have two go-to songs. The first is Wake Me Up Before You Go Go by Wham and the other is Groovy! by Kohmi Hirose. Both songs just have such a fun, infectious beat that they always lift my mood.

BTS On:
This one got me through the pandemic, and I always get up to dance when it comes on my work playlist. I get a boost of energy that keeps me going through paperwork, spreadsheets, and project schedules

LOVE IT! On is exactly the kind of song that fills you with energy to accomplish anything. 💜

If I need to get work done (especially something that I have been dragging my feet on) it would be "Deep Forest". Doesn't have many words and it helps me push through the task. And also requires silence and coffee (as others have also mentioned 😁 ).
The Endel app has good sounds to help focus as well.

My go to is Led Zepplin essential play list.
The other day it was an old school Sammy Hagar song, "There's only one way to rock". I was in my car, windows down, jamming like I was teenager again, head banging, and all. It was an AWESOME feeling.

Oh my, this is a great question and there are sooooo many great tunes that motivate me, especially 80's rock and power ballads. Listening to these not only bring back great memories but make me feel young again. Honestly, almost anything from Van Halen, Journey, Scorpions, Heart, Pat Benatar, Fleetwood Mac, Duran Duran, Toto, RUSH, REO Speedwagon, Styxz, Loverboy, Night Ranger, Boston, Foreigner, Santana are just a few of my "go-to" when I need a boost or pick me up. Listening to a wide range and variety of music genres are also what we raised our children on and so it isn't just about the music from the 80's that motivate me but all of the music our now grown kids have shared over the years. Music is simply the best motivator, in my opinion and is also one that can bring us all together. It is a language that speaks to us all.

Oh my goodness! There's so many great songs across the genres for getting in the zone. If I need to do a lot of critical thinking or working with my words, there's usually an intense soundtrack playlist running like I'm a character in the midst of the most epic fantasy montage.
I don't really have any go-tos in terms of individual songs, but here's a throwback that's been hitting lately for me: "I'm Still Standing" by Elton John
