How can i make a row automatically get created and updated in one sheet as it is created elsewere

Hello world!

I am trying to create a overview sheet that will be fetching values from two different lists.

The two data sheets have a identifier number for each row in them, but placed in differant coloumns were only in one of the sheets is this identifier the Primary coloumn, so automating copy and paste row to other sheet didnt work out.

Can i perhaps fetch a list of all the rows that meet criteria, make a list in the overview sheet with identifier values from both sheets, and then so that id is used to get the rest of the coloumns?

How would you go about to make this as automated as possible?

Overview sheet (Os) is a compilation and summary of Sheet A and Sheet B.

A and B contains mostly the same information, but in differant coloumns (Most important / value used as identifier only as primary coloumn in one of them)

I would like a list that updates itself like the automation that copies a new row with the condition of having the identifier coloumn filled to the Overview sheet, but with auto i get ALOT of unnecessary coloumns and values in the wrong coloumns :P

If you have Data Mesh, this is pretty straightforward. Setup two Data Mesh workflows, each sources from one of your lists and uses the identifier column from that list to match to your overview identifier column (doesn't have to be the same name). Set Data Mesh to do a Copy and Add and it will add in missing identifiers to your overview sheet when they are newly added to a detailed sheet.

I dont have :(, i am looking at data shuttle right now tho. But im having trouble as it doesnt want to shuttle between my two smartsheets

Data Shuttle does in and out of Smartsheet to other formats like Excel. If you don’t have Data Mesh then you can use Data Shuttle to export a sheet to CsV/xlsx and then import it with an Add/Update to your master sheet.
