Recipient not receiving workflow notifications

My workflow is not notifying all recipients. I can run the workflow, both manually and with the trigger, and receive the email notification as an Admin. He is the Owner but isn't receiving notifications. I checked his email contact; it is correct. He has NOT unsubscribed from the workflow. I'm perplexed. What else should I check?

Ask him to check his "Notifications" settings in his "Personal Settings. If the notification is sent "from sheet owner" (so himself) checking the "Include my changes in sheet notifications" option may solve the issue.
Alternatively, you could have the notification sent "from Smartsheet Automation" or "from my organization"

Over the past few weeks we have started receiving this same issue. The notification/automation permissions are set to Unrestricted and the email address is valid. The user has not unsubscribed from the notifications and the email recipient is not defined as a licensed or unlicensed user and they are not a Smartsheet contact. Just an email address within our domain and the column is a contact column (it would have to be in order to be available to the automation). This function operates successfully 99% of the time and then fails on selected email addresses for what appears to be no reason. This has been reported by multiple sheet creators across different Smartsheets so is not isolated to a given user/sheet. Any insights would be appreciated!

Having the same issue sporadically which of course makes it worse. I am going to submit a ticket.

I have customers facing similar issues. Sending out notifications on critical due dates but told that they didn't receive it. What's the best practice or what can we do to minimise on this issue?

Following. I have been having this same issue for months. I am the sheet owner and also the workspace owner. The sheet is set to unrestricted, my preferences allow notifications and my email is accurate. I am able to manually trigger and Smartsheet confirms the workflow was run successfully, but no one receives the emails.

We've had similar issues. In a recent case I was receiving notifications if I forced the automation to run but not when the conditions were met and it should have triggered. I found that if I select "message only" instead of "links to sheet and all fields" it started working.
