For those shared to a sheet as Viewer, are there additional permission settings that can restrict the ability to export a smartsheet?
Hello,
There currently isn't a way to prevent Viewers from exporting a sheet out of Smartsheet.
One idea is to instead publish your sheet, details on this are available in our help center: https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/522078-publishing-smartsheet-items
Thanks for the link. One thing that wasn't clear to me in the article: what is meant by sheet owner's account? Is that different from the Enterprise SysAdmin? See screenshot.
It is different, this dialogue is referring to all other people that have been added to your account. (Specifically Team, Business, and Enterprise plans)
System Admins are the only ones that can invite other people to an account.
Another way to put this is, "anyone that is in the same Smartsheet plan as you."
If you happen to be a System Admin, you can see everyone that is in your plan by clicking Account > User Management.
If you're NOT a System Admin, you'll want to check with them and have them provide you with a user report for you to know who will be able to access the published sheet.
Thanks for clarification. So just to clarify regarding publishing options: there is no way to publish a sheet as "Read Only - HTML" to only those that are in the same Smartsheet plan as me, correct?
Shaine,
I'd like to follow up on my latest question on this thread? Thank you!

However, when I put this formula into the spreadsheet, '04a_Marketing Request Tracker - Formulas', I get an…
I have an automation that has a condition where I am looking at the column "LEA Interco Supporting Site(s)" and trying to find columns that have the value "Fort Loramie" in them. This works well when "Fort Loramie" is the first item listed in the cell, but it doesn't work when "Fort Loramie" is the second or third value in…
Have any of you created a Smartsheet that would show the savings for a project by the month? In other words, if I saved $1200 annually and the project ended in say March, then the savings would go $120 per month, Mar 2025-Feb 2026. I have done it on Excel sheets manually, but I think there should be a way to do it with…
