Finding cells that aren't linked
Hi everyone.
I have created a mastersheet (A dashboard), where i link cells from 10-15 other sheets (Project sheets).
What i want to do is to create a report, that will "catch" any rows that are added withing the project sheets. Basically what i want to do is to keep my Dashboard up-to-date when changes happen in the projects. A report as a dashboard is not an option, because to be able to view just the parent rows for each project.
Any suggestions/features that let me create a report that shows me rows that aren't linked to the dashboard?

Thats a "manual" solution - which is great for now.
But in the future where I might have between 50-70 sheets, it could be a larger task.If anyone have other solutions, i would be glad to hear.

- Add a column to each project that is a check box then hide it and lock it. That way only you (the sheet admin) can edit it. Check off the rows that have been linked. Have a report catch the unchecked rows to see if something has been added.

Unfortunately something slightly manual is required. There is no formula support to read if a cell is linked and then act on it. The only fully automated solution would come from cracking the API.

Hi Nikolaj-- The long-term solution for this would be consistent syncing between two sheets, and I've added your vote for it to our enhancement request list. In the meantime, you might consider using a service like Zapier to automatically copy rows to the Dashboard sheet when a condition is met. Let me know if you run into any difficulty implementing this!
