I usually set allocations rates as average during term.

But,When the task is long term, it is  different allocations rate at each point in a same task.

And if I set allocations rate to another task at low loard point,Smartsheet alert the over resource by caliculating rates.

(Because of the allocations rate is average during term.)

It is timeloss to adjust the schedule in every time when Smartsheet alert that.

So,I want set the different allocations rate at each point in a same task.

If someone has good way to solve, please advice me.

You should just be able to make sub tasks.  You would have the following example.

    1. Parent Task (don't allocate this task)
      1. Sub Task Part 1 (50% allocation)
      2. Sub Task Part 2 (25% allocation) (predecessor = Sub Task Part 1)
      3. Sub Task Part 3 (75% allocation) (predecessor = Sub Task Part 2)
      4. Sub Task Part 4 (10% allocation) (predecessor = Sub Task Part 3)

    Hi,Mr Connor Hartford.

    Thank you for your reply.

    I thouht that way,too.

But I don't want to split task,if possible.

If there is the way to set different allocations rate easier,I want to learn that.

If you have anather way,let me know.

    Best regard.

Splitting the task is the only way you'll be able to have different allocations.  To get what you're asking for, you would need to put a formula in the '% Allocated' column.  However, that functionality does not exist at the moment.  You cannot put formulas in resource management system columns (i.e. '% Allocated', 'Duration').

    I could understand well.

I will try splitting them, after all.

    Thank you!
