Reference sheet name in formula.
It would be nice to be able to put something such as @sheetname or {{Sheet Name}} or something to call specifically to the sheet name for a formula. This would make it easy for sheets to be duplicated across vendors/products without having to change anything but the name of the sheet itself.
Re: Nominate Peak Humans & get a badge!
How do I choose? I nominate @Andrée Starå, @Paul Newcome and @Genevieve P. all of which who have constantly been there to help with my MANY questions. And as I was learning the ropes of Smartsheet also all took the time to explain everything in basic terms (with screenshots), so I had an immediate understanding. I could then immediately apply this knowledge to my projects. And there were time (MANY!), where I did not quite have the final answer correct, and they helped again so quickly, and were kind enough to explain the WHY of my issue, helping me learn from my mistakes.

Re: Activity Log should reflect all changes made to a sheet (in detail) including Workflows
This is definitely needed. When we have an audit, I have no way to verify, other than saying, "Smartsheet says, 'Trust us. It was sent'". That's not reassuring to auditors.

Re: how do I add a calendar view in a Dashboard?
It seems like a majorly missed opportunity to not include a calendar widget in the dashboard. The coding would be so simple and would make many people very happy and yet this complaint has been ongoing for years. The workaround is not aesthetic and allows far to much information exposed on the web to be a safe or practical solution.
United Way thermometer graph
The ability to add a UW thermometer graph would be ideal for the type of work we do. See attatched example of what I am talking about
Re: Dynamic View Logic should behave like Conditional Form Logic (aka "live")
For the price tag, seems like this oversight should have been corrected since this topic was brought forward over 2 years ago?
Re: Nominate Peak Humans & get a badge!
I would love to nominate:
@Alison Clancy for being the best cheerleader and community leader. She is always looking out for us.
@Paul Newcome for always stepping up to help resolve my issues. Smartsheet issues! 😁
@Kelly Drake for holding my phone for 8 min to record the infamous tattoo
@David Tutwiler and @Matt Johnson who are working dilengtly to get us a Nashville User Group!

Re: Combine Contacts from multiple columns into a single cell
I am using a contact list column with multiple contacts that is created with a JOIN(COLLECT) formula from a Contact List column... The result of the formula is a text list and not a Contact List.
Since I am using this resource to display a dashboard using the "Current User" filter it will only work if I change the column type to text, save, back to contact list, save an then refresh the dashboard and works. But the minute the sheet is refreshed it turns back to text.
Back in November 2021 @Ben Goldblatt referred to this behavior as a reported bug.
I think this will be not only useful but ir make sence that those functions behave returning the data type of the search column itself.
Look forward to your answer...

Meet Nick Burrus, our December Member Spotlight! 🎉
Stop what you’re doing and come meet @Nick Burrus, Community Champion and our December Member Spotlight!
St Nicholas Burrus is the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Production and Project Manager at UBEO Business Services and lives in California.
Several years ago, Nick worked for a digitization company focused on helping companies transition from paper records to digital records. They began using Smartsheet for internal processes, and soon, Nick was taking classes and happily experimenting until he became the “de facto Smartsheet guru” on the engineering team.
“From there, I’ve just kept practicing, reading the Community forums when stumped, sharing my own work-arounds, and collaborating with others on how to accomplish something unique,” he explains.
Today at UBEO, Nick is a huge fan of cross-sheet references in formulas. He recently built a solution that allows employees to enter the work they’ve done for the day, including details, for tracking and analytics. Dashboards then automatically use references to fill out manifests, showing clients how much of a project is done and providing a live view of progress.
“One of my favorite things about the Community is how people use formulas in new ways,” Nick says. “Did you know you could do algebra with time stamps by stacking LEN and LEFT/RIGHT formulas? Formula stacking is insane and I absolutely love it. With Smartsheet, you can pull off things that are seemingly impossible in other platforms.”
As a Community Champion, Nick spends his time participating in virtual events and opportunities, and he advises fellow Community Members to jump in when they have the bandwidth. “Learn the tips and tricks of Community Champions, Overachievers, and more, and you’re bound to become the champion at your organization,” he says.
Nick recently adopted a dog and loves having her as his frequent companion. As someone who has had a heart transplant, he enjoys volunteering at transplant events as a guest speaker and judge.
Thank you for all you do, Nick!
Alison C.
