I've had the same issues, it can be frustrating for admins and the end users, especially when they start a trial, create some stuff, then lose it in 60 days because they no longer have a license and admins had no idea it was created.

I'd like to be able to access the cell history with a formula. For instnace, recording the date a checkbox was marked in a date column. I could write a formula for that going forward, but to be able to pull historical data I need to go in and check each cell history and transcribe the date.

I agree with Heather and Amy's posts, and have a couple more suggestions below.

Heather's suggestions:

• change the font color inside a cell: being able to select text inside a cell (or part of a cell) and change the font color, will make that text section stand out. 👍
• change the font type (bold, italic, underline, strikethrough) inside a cell: the font type can enhance a project by drawing attention to key words within a text/cell.👍
• change the font size inside a cell: the font size can help differentiate between titles, headers, and body text inside a cell. 👍
• highlight text within a cell, and hyperlink specific text/font inside a cell 👍

Amy's suggestions:

• tiered bullet points within a cell (different bullet style for different levels of text indent). Use case: We use bullets all the time in "executive summary"/comments cells that roll up to a leadership dashboard. They break up the text and make it easier to read at a glance. Tiered bullets would be especially good for documentation housed in a Smartsheet, something I am working towards to keep our project toolkit centralized. 👍

• numbering within a cell (creating numbered lists of text). Use case: Logging several steps that must be completed to resolve a risk on a risk log, and other numerous similar cases. 👍

My suggestions:

Bolding and Alignment of Titles - this is a great way to highlight the titles of the column and having the alignment either match the column or just be centered would be cleaner to view.

Borders around cells - this will allow separation between columns and rows to distinguish the data especially when reporting or adding to dashboard. gridlines are helpful but when separating information an actual border is better.

Adding Images within cell - our organization is very focused on accessibility for people viewing report and a great way to do that is with different types of symbols or pictures

Merging cells - this is very helpful and shows better in a report or dashboard instead of duplicating the same data multiple times. i.e. one category with multiple sub-categories - see example below of duplicating data

Allowing the formatting to carryover to reports and dashboards - This is where you will want the formatting to show and make visuals pop.

Yes, I wonder what the rational is behind it. It's like all my kids asking for new things just because they see a commercial. I know marketing does help sales but if it's going to controlled by the organization, why dangle the carrot and create confusion? "Click-bait" is a great description.

I'd like the option to detect errors and trigger a notification to myself when a Bridge Workflow stops.

This would be particularly useful when running a child workflow as the entire parent and all subsequent children workflows will stop running if an error occurs. It would be nice to know that I need to retrigger my parent workflow without having to constantly manually check the status.

I am submitting this idea/enhancement to allow forms created from sheets to be saved on their own (as forms) in a Smartsheet folder or Workspace. Right now, it can be cumbersome to get to the form.
