Add a row at the Summary Sheet thru Global Update that can be linked back to the Intake Sheet
We’d like to request an enhancement to the Global Update feature so that when a row is added to the Summary sheet it can automatically link back to the Intake sheet through Control Center blueprint configuration.
This would mirror the current behavior when adding a row to the Profile sheet, where data can be linked back to the Intake sheet via a global update. Implementing this capability would greatly reduce manual cell-linking, improve data consistency, and significantly increase efficiency for Smartsheet administrators.
At present, we use an API to push rows to the Summary sheet across all partitioned clients; however, establishing cross-sheet references and maintaining the cell links for each partitioned sheet must be done manually. That manual work is time-consuming, error-prone, and creates a substantial administrative burden for Smartsheet administrators.
Re: Search Automations Capability
Hello,
Currently, I keep track of all workflows created and their ID's. It would be super helpful if we could search for workflow by the NAME or ID versus having to scroll and find it.
Thank You - Smartsheet Ambassador😊

Hot Dish — because in Minnesota we don't "casserole." This Tater Tot Hot Dish layers protein, starch, and vegetables in a creamy soup base, finished with melted cheese and a golden tater-tot topping. Pictured here in the vintage bakeware passed down from my mom, it’s comforting, dependable, and perfect for warming a cold Minnesota evening…yummo!
Custom View for Calendar App
Is there a way to have custom views based on a group or individual identified in a column similar to the 'Current User' filter for reports?

Re: Auto-Revoke/Cancel Update Request
I'm looking for this functionality too, for a different use case. I have an update request that goes out to 3 people, any of whom can complete the update (which is to flip a cell with a drop-down menu to "Complete"). I only want the update completed once, so once the cell changes to Complete I'd like to cancel or revoke the outstanding pending update requests to the other two people. This control is needed because if the cell keeps changing (for example, person 2 changes it to "in progress" or blank and person 3 changes it back to "complete"), it will trigger duplicates of subsequent workflows which could get very messy.
Re: Auto-Revoke/Cancel Update Request
Problem:
I have a workflow that sends out an update request to the assigned individual for a task when that task moves into a "late" status. The goal is to get that person to go into the project plan and adjust the end date and or the status of the item.
Many people make this change by editing the smartsheet directly rather than using the "Update Request" form, and now there are many 'Pending' update requests that one must delete manually.
Solution:
Enable a new workflow action that cancells an "Update Request" based on some change in another field. In my example, if the user's task is no longer marked as late, I want the update request to be cancelled.

Date and Time
Good day.
On my sheet, I'd like to find out if it's possible to calculate the elapsed hours of a job using the start date, estimated hours of completion (for the job) and finish date.
Paste as table
I need to regularly copy chunks of data from a SS and paste it into an email, but it pastes as text, which then requires a lot of manipulation to get columns to line up. Any way to get it to paste as a table?
