Smartsheet does not sort properly by numbers when you get above 9. Currently, it'll sort 1, 10, 11, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 rather than 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and the only way to fix it right now is by adding a character in front of the ones below 10.
Within the sheet filter list the sorting is alphabetic and also numeric. However the numeric filtering does not properly consider two digit numbers properly. For example a list including numbers 1-10, 1 through 9 will be sorted properly but then 10 would be listed after 1 not after 9. Pretty easy fix here.
@Jodi C I concur. I have a column with Store #'s. These are 4 digits. Store #'s that begin with a '0' fall under the last Store # with 4 digits. See screenshot below;
Would REALLY LOVE to have the column sort in the manner I expect. Ideas?

Surely this is an important feature.
Whether I have a prefix or not, it makes no difference to sorting by the specific column.
