I have a list of projects, that need to be reviewed in a meeting, which is hold only on Mondays. Different projects are filtered from the list (depending on the date, for which they are scheduled) and build the agenda for the upcoming meeting. Automatic update of the filter can keep my items organized and relevant to the current needs of the following meeting. It can extract only the relevant information that matches specific criteria (next Monday from the standpoint of current week). In a scenario where the data is updated regularly, it is essential to have the filter updated automatically to reflect these changes.

You could include a formula in a checkbox column that will check the box on all rows where [Date] is "next week" or whatever other criteria you need then create your report based on this checkbox.
