I have a line in my budget for "random blessings" and use this money set aside to help others when needs arise. I would add the $20 to that line item and then use and use when I hear of others needing help.
-
I will donate that money to Shaukat Khanum cancer hospital (https://shaukatkhanum.org.pk/).

I would purchase groceries and donate them to the food bank to help those in need in my community.
-
I would donate it to my local pet shelter.
Standardize! Templatize! Automate!
-
I would visit my local unhoused friend named Kenny and take him to get a hot homecooked meal!!
-
I'd pay forward for a cup of coffee or bottle of water and cookies for any person who needs it.š

I would break it down into $1 dollar bills, then type up a note about "paying it forward", keeping $1, and giving $1. The note and money would be placed inside books in several "Little Free Libraries" around my community. The note would include information on the Little Free Library program. š°ļøšļø

I would give it to a local domestic violence shelter to use as they needed. Usually the organizations can get things cheaper than it would be for me to buy and donate, so giving the money directly makes the most sense to me.
-
I will donate it towards creating awareness on neurodevelopmental disorders in children.
-
I will match this $20 with my own $20, so now we have $40. I might open a conversation on Facebook with my friends and ask them to contribute to a good cause and we can raise some additional funds. I will then reach out to the local community and ask them if anyone is struggling (especially seniors) and what is it that they need the most right now (help, money, groceries, supplies, clothes, etc.).

Buy food and donate it to a local school in an underserved area for their backpack program.
A backpack program sends food home with children in their backpacks on Fridays to make sure they have something to eat until they return to school on Monday.
-
I would use the money to purchase essential care items to donate to a shelter.
-
Use it to buy supplies needed for a military care package and send to the USO.
-
I would want to give it to a 'no-kill' dog shelter. I have a soft spot for dogs.

Somebody who doesn't usually get a $20 tip is going to be surprised! Hairdresser, service person, delivery person, wait staff. Etc.
