Automated emails are including data I don't want/need

I've already customized what I can but the email still includes stuff I don't want (see red lines below). I don't want any of that as it just makes it harder to get the info I want to share which is just 1 field values that I specify.

Why is all this other junk being sent? None of it is even relevant. How do I remove it?

Hey Kim, if you want to remove all of that and just show the Reseller name in the email, you can select "Message only" in your automation alert step and give it a custom Subject. Then in the body, you can specify the columns of data you want the recipient to see. Just wrap the column names in double curlies. {{ }} like...

Understood but then I lose the sheet link that I want them to have. Seems you can't have he link and just the fields w/o the other stuff.

SS really needs an option for "link only" instead of the 2 with fields.

@KimTDSYN Does it work to add a new column to the sheet with the URL link to the sheet and then hide it? Then you can include it in the message only with the brackets.

That doesn't address my concern. If you see my initial image, it's the stuff crossed out that I'd like to have removed. It's just email clutter and distracts from the data.

Hey Kim, this might not be what you're going after, but here's both options:

Custom Message

This one removes all the stuff you didn't want to see and is formatted a little differently. I used @Frank B. 's suggestion and dropped the link to the sheet in the message. Keep in mind that you can add whatever you want in the gray section and you can change the "Requests Updated" email Subject line.

Standard Message
