@Genevieve P. Please see below my UAT Test Cases. Can you please inform the respective Scrum Team and the Stakeholders?

Test Case 1 ⇒ Laptop + Web Browser + Smartsheet Dashboard (Not Published Link) PASS

The device is a Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 1 64-bit installed with Windows 11 Enterprise Version 22H2 (22621.3447) and Microsoft Edge Version 124.0.2478.67 (64-bit). The Rich Text widget with "mailto" is successfully opening a new message window from my company's email vendor with the expected from/to email addresses.

Hi @Erin Horiuchi Green - At the moment, mailto links are not supported on published dashboards and from mobile apps. With that in mind- mobile web browser (published dashboard), mobile app (dashboard load) and accessing a published dashboards from desktop will result in mailto links that are not clickable.

@Casey Edwards 15 - mailto links are not supported on published dashboards

  • Thank you @Barak Schriger. I was reference a post on this thread in November of 2023 by another SS employee that provided instructions indicating that the issue was resolved. But now this is not the case? Are there plans to make this happen as it's seem a pretty basic function to have. Thanks for any insight. https://urlisolation.com/browser?clickId=8E108928-BFC2-4B94-9519-2A91524A948E&traceToken=1714581479%3Bsitusamc_hosted%3Bhttp%3A%2Fcommunity.smartsheet.com%2Fd&url=https%3A%2F%2Fhelp.smartsheet.com%2Farticles%2F2482268-rich-text-widgets-options
